About me

My father bought a Corvair when I was 13 years old.  A 1961 Monza 4 door.  That’s when it all started.  I began working on the car before I could even legally drive it.  When I wasn’t playing soccer, I was wrenching.

The ’61 became my daily driver after I got my driver’s license.  And it still is today, 16 years later.  While completing my Bachelor’s degree in Physics – Mechanical Engineering at Point Loma Nazareth University, I designed brake brackets that allowed for the full Wilwood brake kit to bolt on to a Corvair. Since then, I’ve done a few upgrades on the design and been using them on my car for almost a decade.

I currently own the ’61 Monza 4 door and a ’62 Greenbrier hightop camper. Previously, I owned a ’66 Corsa coupe that I wish I kept.
